ACFI provides a professional certification program for M&A advisory firms, a directory of certified firms, research publications, industry events, and related services. The specific features and services available may change over time.
3. Certification Program
ACFI certification is subject to meeting specified criteria and passing our assessment process. Certification is granted at ACFI's sole discretion and may be revoked if a firm fails to maintain required standards. Certification does not guarantee business outcomes or client satisfaction.
4. Directory Listings
Information in the ACFI directory is provided by certified firms and verified by ACFI to the extent practicable. ACFI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of directory information. Users should independently verify firm details before engaging advisory services.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the ACFI website, including text, graphics, logos, research publications, and software, is the property of ACFI or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
6. User Conduct
Users agree not to: (a) use the website for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems; (c) interfere with other users' access; (d) submit false or misleading information; or (e) scrape, harvest, or collect data without permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
ACFI provides information and services "as is" without warranties of any kind. ACFI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to ACFI in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
9. Changes to Terms
ACFI reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
